Another new name popped up recently in Randy’s search for a new Offensive Coordinator. And this one is unemployed! Natch! Mike Kruczek was most recently the OC of the Arizona Cardinals, under Denny Green. He has a killer tan, and currently is an OC at a local Orlando high school. That team must be the balls. He took a pre-O’Leary UCF team to an over .500 record (36-30), but was blamed for the team’s 0-11 season in O’Leary’s first season. Poor recruiting, no discipline, the usual culprits. Both of which we all know Randy can take care of, so these don’t worry me at all. I like the thought of a no-name coming in, as I’ve said before. Kruczek’s UCF teams were perennially in the top 15 nationally in passing, and come on! Look at that tan!
Most importantly, Kruczek has mid to northern Florida recruiting ties, and that would benefit Miami greatly to be able to go into Gator country and steal some balla’s, especially from Lakeland. Randy has said he wants to shut down the South Florida recruiting, and focuses mainly in this area. Urban throws his grubby hands all over the lower portion; Randy needs to start hitting him hard up there as well.
